User data deletion

This page is the user-data deletion instructions for the ElwoLinks product and the Meta app that powers Facebook Login (Analist). Meta may also call our automated callback when you remove the app in Facebook.
How to request deletion
- Email [email protected] from the same email you used to sign up, subject “Delete my ElwoLinks data”, or
- In Facebook: Settings → Apps and websites → ElwoLinks / Analist → Remove. Facebook then notifies us via callback.
We complete deletion within 30 days, usually faster. You will receive confirmation at the email we have on file when you wrote to us.
What we delete
- Your ElwoLinks login (email, name, password hash) when you ask us to close the account.
- Stored Facebook access tokens and Facebook user id on your connection.
- Selected ad account / Page / pixel identifiers we stored for launches.
- Session cookies we issued.
Smart-link URLs already used in ads can stay publicly reachable until you ask us to archive the link (otherwise listeners hitting an old ad would see a dead page). Campaigns already created in your Meta ads account remain yours; removing our app does not automatically delete those campaigns in Ads Manager — pause or delete them there, or ask us to pause campaigns we created before we drop the token.
We may keep a minimal record of the deletion request (confirmation code, timestamp, Facebook user id hashed or stored only as needed to prove the request) for up to 24 months for security and Meta audit, not for advertising.
Automated Facebook callback
When Facebook sends a data-deletion request, we verify the signed payload, delete the matching Facebook connection, and return a confirmation URL to Meta. Status URL format:
